The California State University, East Bay (CSU East Bay) is a member of the 23 California State Universities network. It was established in 1957 and has a primary campus in Hayward with two secondary campuses located in Oakland and Concord. The CSU East Bay has a Student Housing and Resident Life (SHRL) department that oversees the accommodation arrangements for international students.
