University of Bristol Shortlisted for Inaugural Global Teaching Excellence Award

An international panel of judges has shortlisted the University of Bristol for the Higher Education Academy’s (HEA) first ever Global Teaching Excellence Awards (GTEA). GTEA is open to all higher education providers around the world, and it recognises institution-wide approaches to teaching excellence. The pro vice-chancellor for Education and Students for the University of Bristol, Prof. Judith Squires stated that it’s an honour being shortlisted for the inaugural GTEA. HEA CEO Prof. Stephanie Marshall said that these awards would help raise the quality of teaching in higher education by highlighting outstanding practices around the world.
