Surprise Announcement by Alliance 7

2017 can be considered as a year of surprises, especially for the students. A great initiative was taken by Alliance7 to shake off pressure from the shoulders of the students. Good news for all students who are a part of Goerge Brown school or aim to be one.

Alliance7 Construction president and CEO Simon Degroot come up with an initiative of funding the construction management scholarships at the George Brown College.  Alliance7 previously stated of funding $10,000 for George Brown's Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management for the next five years for the students. But, in a small cheque presentation ceremony, on 31st May 2017, at Casa Lama Campus, Alliance7 declared to extend the amount and the duration of this scholarship, by $14,000 for students for a term of seven years.

For this award, a student can avail $2,000 per year, if the student from construction management team has a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Along with this, the student should be associated well with construction research projects.

The dean of the George Brown School stated that "Getting a partner like Alliance7 during our 50th Anniversary is bliss."
