Fontbonne University Announces Redesigned MS Program in Instructional Design and Technology

Fontbonne University has announced the launch of redesigned Master of Science program in Instructional Design and Technology. This latest program is believed to be ideal for professionals in various fields who like to identify, plan, create and deliver instructional experiences to a particular crowd, better known as the target audience. This latest curriculum involves emerging technologies with the new-age research and best practice.

The specialty areas offered in this redesigned program are learning technologies, learner experience design, web development and multimedia production, and mobile app development/computer programming. Professionals in business, healthcare, government, education, web design, instructional design and more can assemble their program with one of these above mentioned courses.

According to the University’s official website, these latest courses are relevant and current to today’s marketplace. This program also allows a person to create instructional experiences using emerging industry standard software (like Adobe Cloud application, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captive, etc.), depending on the specialization.

The projects of these courses will focus on real-world challenges and will be displayed through an online ePortfolio. This will also allow the students to work with subject matter experts in a proper career field as there will be project-based internship course. Students can create iOS or Android apps to produce mobile learning content or mLearning applications.

To join this program, a student requires a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for full acceptance. A current resume along with three references or three letters of recommendation is also needed for admission.
