Courses in New Zealand Universities

Studying in New Zealand can be quite costly. Whether it's for undergraduates or post-graduates; anyone who comes to New Zealand for education needs to prove that he/she has enough fund to support his/her study. For Undergraduates the tuition fees are:
 
  • Arts and social science: NZ$ 20,000 per year
  • Science and engineering: NZ$ 25,000 per year
  • Dentistry and medicine: NZ$ 75,000 per year
  • Commerce and Administration: NZ$22,300 per year
  • Communication and Media Studies: NZ$21,000 per year
  • Law: NZ$24,000 per year.
 
For the postgraduate programs the tuition fees are:
 
  • Arts, humanities, social sciences: NZ$ 22,080- NZ$33,720 per year
  • Commerce and Administration: NZ$28,680 per year
  • Education: NZ$22,080- NZ$33,720 per year
  • Engineering: NZ$33,720 per year
  • Law: NZ$28,680 per year
  • Medicine: NZ$37,080 per year
 
For MBA students, the entire tuition fee is charged at once instead of per year payment. The PhD programs require all the students, be it local or international student, to pay the same institution-specific fees.
