The USA is undoubtedly the most preferred destination for an international student, but it is also one of the most expensive places for higher studies. So before choosing a program or the University, students must check the fee structure as well as the funding options that can support them while they study in the US. According to a recent report, the average annual tuition fee to study in the US is roughly around $33,215. The tuition fee also varies depending on the type of institute from which one is choosing to study.

So if a student is planning to move to the US for his/her higher studies, then he/she must have sufficient fund to support his/her study in the USA.

The requirements for admission into US institutions also vary depending on the program, level of study and the institution one is choosing. However, the certain things remain the same for all international students. Firstly, one needs to prove his/her competency in the English language. To do that, one needs to provide the English language test (TOEFL or IELTS) scores to the admission committee. Apart from that, for undergraduates, a minimum of 65% marks in humanities stream and 70-80% or more for Science/Commerce in XII standard is required to get admission in US colleges. Students with less than 60% can apply for diploma courses which are also available across the country. A student also needs to be 18 or more before joining a degree program.
