IIM Sirmaur Admission Policy 2018-2020: CAT 2017 cut off fixed at 90 percentile

Unlike last year, the IIM Sirmaur Institute of Management will conduct WAT / PI this year for admission to the PGP course for the academic session of 2018-2020. In 2017 the institute did not conduct WAT / PI; he offered admission to selected candidates on the basis of CAT and consolidated scores.

The minimum reduction of CAT 2017 was fixed at 90 percentile for students in the general category, while for students with reserved categories the cutoffs are much lower.

IIM Sirmaur will follow the General Acceptance Procedure (CAP) adopted by IIM Bodh Gai, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur.

The components of the CAP for all the above mentioned institutions are common, namely: the CAT 2017 scale, WAT, PI, class 12 marking, graduations, work experience and academic and gender diversity.

The reception process includes three stages:

Those who meet the above notches will have the right to appear in the WAT / PI turn. Publish the WAT / PI tour, the results of each candidate will be noted. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of a composite score for each candidate.

Work experience will be calculated until January 31, 2018. Applicants must have at least 6 months of work experience to use the work experience assessment.

After the selection, the candidate will receive an application for IIM Sirmaur by e-mail, after which the candidate will have to confirm the receipt of the registration form by completing the application form and paying 50,000 rupees. This amount will be adjusted from the cost of the first installment or will be refunded in the event that a candidate decides not to apply for admission. Rs 1000 will be deducted as a processing fee.
