- You are identified as a finalist.
- You will be directed via email or text message to your online provisional graduation application. To access the form, log in to Arion and go to “Academic details”
- You must complete the provisional application form, indicating your graduation preference and return it by the stated last day for graduand response. We recommend that you complete the form online. Alternatively, you can complete, scan and then email a printed copy of the form to graduation@aut.ac.nz. If these options are not viable, you can also mail your form to Graduation Office, AUT University (B19), Private Bag 92006, Auckland 1142.
- Registry Services will notify you by email when your graduation application has been received. You can also check Arion to see if we’ve received your form - log in and go to “Tracking”. If we’ve received it, it will say "Graduation pack received".
- Registry Services will then send a letter to your Arion account with details of your ceremony day and time and information about academic dress. You will be notified with a text or email.
- Registry Services will mail a graduation handbook and two complimentary tickets for your guests to your mailing address one week before graduation.

Application forms and regulations for scholarships administered by AUT can be downloaded from the database. Information about how to apply for individual external scholarships is also available.
