Courses in Canada Universities

While applying for a certain course at a Canadian Institute, one needs to submit these following documents:

  • Attested copies of the mark sheets of class X, XII, and the bachelor's degree
  • Letters of references (at least two) from professors
  • Letters of recommendation if the student has worked somewhere
  • A statement of purpose
  • Resume (for MBA or MiM courses)
  • Photocopied score reports of essential tests like GMAT, IELTS or TOEFL
  • Transcripts from the previously attended institutions
  • Proof of funds
  • Duly filled application form
  • Medical tests

If the student is applying for a management course or a law school, then he/she needs to go through entrance exams like SAT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, etc. In fact, every institution may have their own set of admission criteria and eligibility requirements. So before applying for a particular test, it is better to call up the administration of the respective institution and get the detailed information about their admission process.

While applying for a certain course in abroad, a student needs to submit the proof of sufficient fund that can support his study and other expenses during his/her stay in the foreign land. As mentioned earlier, studying in Canada can be little expensive, so a student needs to have sufficient fund before applying for a course at a Canadian institute. The good news is there are several scholarship programs for the students who are willing to pursue higher studies on Canadian soil. Some of these scholarships are government sponsored, some are funded by some non-profit organizations, and some are offered by the Universities.
